A floor-length, 1970s velvet gown in a deep chocolate brown, cut with a strong asymmetric line. One long sleeve balances the neckline, which features unusual cut-out detailing that gives the piece its character and makes it difficult to date or place — very much timeless.
The velvet has a slight stretch and sits close to the body before falling straight to the floor. Some small signs of wear are visible in the pile of the fabric, consistent with the age of the dress. All visible in images.

The dress was in the same condition as the picture. It was lovely. I bought it knowing it was a size up from my usual size. I will alter it to fit me better. But I loved the design so much.
